"Classification and quantification of visual impairments
and standards for establishing eye"

Article 1.
(Scope).
1. This law defines various forms of visual impairments deserving of legal recognition in order to properly deal with the quantification dell'ipovisione and blindness according to the parameters accepted by the international medical ophthalmology. This classification, technical and scientific nature, does not change the current regulations on economic performance and social welfare field.

Article 2.
(What is completely blind).
1. For the purposes of this Act, are defined completely blind:

a) those who are suffering from lack of vision in both eyes;

b) those who have the mere perception of light and shadow or the motion of the hand in better eye or both eyes;

c) those whose residual binocular perimeter is less than 3 percent.

Article 3.
(Definition of partial blind).
1. We define partial blind:

a) those who have a residual vision of not more than 1 / 20 in better eye or both eyes, with possible correction;

b) those whose residual perimeter binoculare è inferiore al 10 per cento.

Art. 4.

b) coloro il cui residuo perimetrico binoculare è inferiore al 60 per cento.

Art. 7.
(Accertamenti oculistici per la patente di guida).
1. Gli accertamenti oculistici avanti agli organi sanitari periferici delle Ferrovie dello Stato, previsti dall'articolo 119 del decreto legislativo 30 aprile 1992, n. 285, e successive modificazioni, sono impugnabili, ai sensi dell'articolo 442 del codice di procedura civil, before the magistrate.
